Attorney and Certified International Privacy Professional with an extensive background in digital marketing, advertising technology and compliance.

As an attorney an privacy professional, Rachel is responsible for leading the business through a period of change and transformation in order to better serve clients, educate staff, and align with various data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Rachel is a privacy professional with an unusual career path. Prior to taking on Privacy Officer responsibilities at Wunderman, she held positions within MEC managing paid search and social media marketing for one of the world’s largest advertisers at MEC. During this time, Rachel attended Brooklyn Law School part time at night where she began her journey in data privacy. Rachel then moved on to serve as the first director of privacy for the world’s largest media investment agency, GroupM where she focused on on contract and MSA negotiations; monitoring and updating the company privacy policy, assessing compliance with sector specific privacy laws such as COPPA, HIPAA, FTCA, and self-regulatory efforts including the DAA’s AdChoices program and the NAI code of conduct.

Prior to focusing on privacy, Rachel has over 10 years experience in managing client accounts, and has worked with clients over a range of verticals where she would lead developing strategy, executing and optimizing social media and paid search campaigns across mobile, desktop, programmatic, and other connected devices.
